No reopening date has been set.

It Couldn’t Have Been Done Without Delegate Austin!!

Botetourt County Historical Museum wishes to thank Delegate Terry Austin for getting VDOT to remove the large old tree stump in Main Street, Fincastle. It was dangerous and could have caused an accident. Soon VDOT will pave the area and it will be finished.

Thank you Delegate Austin!!!

Also, thank you to the VDOT employees for the excellent work that was performed to make the driveway and sidewalk safely available for visitors at the new BCHS Museum. After using Miss Utility to mark utilities, a company was hired to come and shred the raised stump. The heavy historical stone sidewalk was carefully removed and then replaced.
